Overview
Fizz is a mobile AP assassin who excels at bursting down squishy targets and slipping out before the enemy can punish him. His kit rewards smart timing, patience, and finding the right moment to commit. When played well, Fizz can completely take over mid game skirmishes and constantly threaten enemy carries.
Strengths
- Very strong burst damage against squishy champions
- Excellent mobility and dodge potential
- Can punish immobile carries very hard
- Strong pick potential in skirmishes
- Very threatening once ultimate is available
Weaknesses
- Can struggle when behind
- Less effective against tanky team compositions
- Needs good timing to commit safely
- Can be punished heavily by crowd control
- Bad all-ins can cost him the lane or the fight
Early Game
In the early game Fizz should focus on staying healthy, farming what he safely can, and taking smart trades when enemy cooldowns are down. He becomes much more threatening after level 6, so there is no need to overforce risky plays too early.
Mid Game
Mid game is where Fizz becomes a real problem for enemy carries. With his ultimate and burst combo, he can quickly punish bad positioning and create picks around side lanes or jungle entrances. This is his strongest phase if he is even or ahead.
Late Game
In late game fights Fizz should avoid showing too early. His value comes from threatening the backline, forcing carries to respect his angle, and choosing clean assassination windows. Patience matters much more than panic engages.
Tips & Tricks
- Wait for enemy cooldowns before committing fully.
- Use your mobility to dodge key spells instead of wasting it for no reason.
- Do not force all-ins into heavy crowd control without a clear opening.
- Your best fights are often the ones where enemy carries feel unsafe before you even engage.
- Patience creates cleaner assassination angles than panic aggression.
