Leona

Overview

Leona is a hard engage support who excels at locking targets down and forcing fights on her terms. Her layered crowd control makes her one of the best champions for punishing positioning mistakes and starting explosive skirmishes.

Strengths

• Great synergy with aggressive carries

Weaknesses

• Can be punished if engage fails
• Offers less value when team cannot follow
• Weak into heavy poke lanes before all-in windows
• Can struggle if behind
• Predictable if vision and angles are poor

Early Game

In the early game Leona should look for strong all-in windows when her lane partner can follow. She is most dangerous when she forces short explosive fights before the enemy can kite back safely.

Mid Game

Mid game is where Leona becomes extremely valuable around objective fights and roams. She can start fights, catch rotating enemies, and give her team easy setups for damage.

Late Game

In late game fights Leona should focus on controlling the most important target she can safely reach. She does not need to hit everyone; locking one high-value enemy can be enough to win the fight.

Tips & Tricks

• Engage when your team is ready, not just when you see a target.
• Roaming can create as much value as winning lane.
• Vision denial makes your engage much more threatening.
• Locking the correct target matters more than hitting the first one.
• Do not overforce if your carry cannot follow.
